The VNAB has embraced the tradition of celebrating the contributions of local Heroes who have been integral to its ongoing mission and success. These Heroes have come from all walks of life: physicians, police officers, funders, patients, donors, community leaders, advocates and, of course, our nurses. Each year, the VNA of Boston honors a select group of extraordinary Heroes at our Annual Gala event.
Proceeds from this event support our Maternal Child Health and Charitable Care Programs, which provides direct care and specialized support services to almost 2,400 children and their families each year, making it one of the largest programs of its kind in Massachusetts. Every dollar raised helps the VNA of Boston fulfill our commitment to the most vulnerable, socially at-risk, chronically ill, and disabled children, young parents and families.
We believe that it is important to acknowledge the support of many individuals and community partners whom we consider to be our “Heroes”.
