About the VNA of Boston

Established in 1886, the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston is the oldest organized VNA in the country and one of the largest home health care agencies in New England with over 500 employees. The VNA of Boston provided nearly 200,000 home care visits to over 12,500 patients in 2011.

We take great pride in our free care program and in 2011 our clinicians provided this service to 479 patients without insurance or resources to pay for care. Additionally, we cared for 2,761 infants and provided education to their mothers on how to take care of their babies.
