Established in 1886, the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston is the oldest organized VNA in the country and one of the largest home health care agencies in New England with over 500 employees. The VNA of Boston provided nearly 177,000 certified home health care visits to more than 12,100 patients in 2012.

We take great pride in our free care program and in 2012 our clinicians provided this service to 376 patients without insurance or resources to pay for care. Additionally, we cared for 2,317 infants and provided education to their mothers on how to take care of their babies.
